Knights place 2nd overall at Etowah meet

The Knights had a strong showing at Etowah’s annual JanuEagles meet Saturday afternoon!  Overall, River Ridge placed second, 114 points behind Etowah, 141 points ahead of Sequoyah’s third and 554 points ahead Cherokee’s fourth place finish.  The boys took first place with a 161 lead over Etowah.  The girls finished third just 25 points behind

Swim places 2nd at Spear & Shield

With 11 schools attending and over 300 athletes in the pool, the Knights took second place at the annual River Ridge hosted Spear & Shield.  River Ridge finished 272 points behind 7A Lakeside High School (DeKalb) and 187 points ahead of Denmark (Forsyth).  Great job Knights! Swim Wins TriMeet

Swimming had a great home meet Friday night hosting Sequoyah and Pinecrest Academy.  Knights took first overall with a 355 lead over Pinecrest Academy and a 396 lead over Sequoyah.  The boys finished first with 905 points, leading second place Pinecrest by 428 points.  The girls finished just 54 points behind second place Sequoyah.  Swimmers

Swim finishes 1st & 2nd on the road at Calhoun

It was another exciting night of swimming with the Knights visiting Calhoun. 8 teams competed and River Ridge Girls took first place by 66 points and the Boys finished second, 72 points behind Calhoun. Swim Team brings home win from Rome!

Swimming had a sweep in Rome with both the boys and girls taking 1st for a 134 point lead for the combined win. The boys scored 139 points, edging out Rome by 54 points. The girls scored 159 points, an 80 point lead over Rome. With 11 total events, the team’s depth this year was
