The Lady Knights picked up their fifth win of the season and third in a row with a 17-10 victory over Sparyberry Wednesday night. The girls wasted no time getting things started as they jumped out to a two goal lead off of quick scores by Hailey Efel and Hannah Vecsey. Following up those two goals, Ellie Howard and Nora Mansell each recorded a goal to push the score to 4-1 in favor of the Knights. Efel, Vecsey, and Zoe Nehrboss added three quick goals to push the lead to 7-1 for the Knights. The Knights continued to force the action and took a 9-5 lead into the half.

Coming out of intermission, Vecsey added three more goals in the early going while Efel and Stephanie Willard picked up a goal apiece to push the lead to 14-7 for The Ridge. The Lady Knights closed out the night with three more goals to put the final at 17-10. On the night, Vecsey lead the team with six goals while Efel and Ellie Howard recorded three goals each. Willard added two goals and Nehrboss, Mansell, and Maggie Gallion each had one. Vecsey and Willard had three assists each too. Ellie Howard picked up seven ground balls on the evening and Efel followed that up wtih five of her own. The Lady Knights return to action on Monday, March 18th as they travel to McEachern for a 7:00 start.
