Yesterday was a bitter sweet day for the knights. The girls led off the night sweeping the Osbourne volleyball team. 25-8 and 25-6. The girls worked as a team. Everyone was where they were supposed to be when they were supposed to be there. They looked like real competitors for state.
The same cannot be said for game 2. The girls fought hard, but lack of communication and poor execution led to a win for the Harrison Hoyas. Our girls lost 25-17 and 25-10.
For the two senior Knights, Abby Infante and Reagan Keenan, this was the last regular season home game. Both of the girls will have another chance at playing at home, but it will be a tough battle. They must make it to the final four in state. There is no doubt that the girls have the talent, but they must work hard to achieve their goal.
